Relief Staffing

When a staff member is away for the day or on holidays the following needs to occur:
- Relief staff on our list are to be used
- If no list staff available – agency to be called with details of hours and qualifications

- A note must be placed in the staff room to inform staff of changes
- A note must be placed in the room of changed staff
- When a relief staff member comes in they must provide first aid certificate – as well as Working with Children Check

They must be shown the emergency evacuation procedure and staff policy booklet as well as around the centre.
