About the Kinder Room
In our Kinder room, children are encouraged to be independent and are provided with many opportunities to practice their emerging self-help skills. The main goal is for children to develop a love of learning, investigative curiosity and experiment with theories and ideas through attempting problem solving before asking for assistance.
There are 30 children in this group each day cared for by a qualified room leader with Bachelor in Education (or equivalent).
Going to kindergarten is an important step for your child. It will help them learn skills that they will build on throughout their life.
At kindergarten your child will grow socially and emotionally. Their ability to think, use and recognise language and their fine motor skills will be developed through play, art, dance, music, movement and interacting with others.
Most importantly, your child will be learning to become an effective learner as they develop and extend their communication skills, build their self-confidence, learn to be creative, and develop skills that assist them with reading, writing and mathematics.

Program
At Lili’s we believe children learn through play and creative interaction with their environment and peers.
Our program is based on developmental profiling of each individual child, encompassing all developmental areas that include psycho – motor (fine and gross motor), cognitive, social and emotional and language skills.
All skills are developed through active participation of a program that includes curriculum areas of: creative and expressive art, dramatic and imaginative play, environmental science and technology, maths and problem solving, expressive and receptive language and literature, music and movement, sensory play, physical experiences (fine and gross motor).
Working with families is essential to the success of our educational program. Children enjoy developing their skills through child initiated learning, which is reflective of their home environment.
We believe in the importance of providing an environment in which children will develop an awareness of Australia’s Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islander Culture and an awareness of the cultural diversity of our local community.
